Flat out miss him. Think about him around small things, incidentals like doing a bike ride where he and I rode, anticipating Thanksgiving with Bonnie soon, seeing his picture somewhere, doing or reading a supertopo post, hiking (as recently) in Sedona where we did some first ascents.

Just miss him and still am mad sad, sad mad. Want to reassemble him and say, “you were my best friend. Thank you.” Lots more too, but I figure if I did resurrect him, I’d have to make it brief.

What an upside-down, hodge-podge, whipsaw deal life is, but I’ll take it. Just want him back, damn it!
